Mauro Patelli

Mauro Patelli participated in the historic Bolognese rock movement of the early eighties, founding Luti Chroma , a band that collected a self-produced single, a single and a tape with Harpo's Bazaar (later Italian Records) and a 33 rpm with Wea, also participating in the mega concert of December 1980 at the Palasport in Bologna and earning a place among the most important bands of the Bolognese rock movement of the period. After that experience and after several years in the ranks of the Bandiera Gialla di Rimini disco orchestra, he joined the then nascent band of Luca Carboni , taking part in all tours (Italian and international) and the TV appearances of the Bolognese singer-songwriter, from the beginning to the present day, as well as actively participating in the creation of albums such as 1992 Carboni (full of hits such as Ci takes a beastly stories of love), World of 1996, Live of 2003. Patelli's friendship and collaboration relationships with other artists (one above all Lucio Dalla, who publicly declares to consider him " one of the greatest guitarists i "during a live TV program on RaiUno) allowed him to write music for Carboni himself, Gianni Morandi, Paola Turc i, and for auteur short films. Among the collaborations, those with J ovanotti, Jimmy Villotti, Riccardo Sinigallia, Barbara Cola, Rosario Di Bella and Cccp should be mentioned. He also lent his guitarisms and his voice for the creation of soundtracks for important films such as I Picari (by Mario Monicelli, with Vittorio Gassman, Giancarlo Giannini, Nino Manfredi and many others, set to music by Lucio Dalla and Mauro Malavasi), Muzungu (played by Giobbe Covatta) First Give me a Kiss (by Ambrogio Lo Giudice, played by Luca Zingaretti and Stefania Rocca and set to music by Lucio Dalla and Fabio Anastas i). Since 1993 he is endorser Fender and has also participated in the cd Italy Plays Fender, together with the most important Italian guitarists.

FROM GOOD TO BETTER In May 2012 Patelli published his first album in which he was engaged as a singer, author and musician. The work is titled Di bene in più and contains 11 songs halfway between pop and rock, with artistic production by Patelli himself and the Palermo singer-songwriter Francesco Cusumano . Two pieces are written entirely by Patelli, both in the text and in the music, while most of the pieces are signed by Patelli for the musical part and by Francesco Cusumano for the lyrics. The disc, made for the technical part by Francesco Cusumano, Massimiliano Salin and Serse Mai , avails itself of the collaboration in the studio of several experienced musicians, such as Andrea Graft, Roberto Terzani, Ignazio Orlando, Giorgio Santisi, Roberto Drovandi, Antonello Giorgi, Fabio Anastasi, Giuseppe Zanca, Massimo Sutera, Luciano Graffi.
