FABIO PALMITESTA

Musician, Composer, Teacher and Music Therapist

Fabio Palmitesta grew up surrounded by musical influences passed on to him by his father. He developed his style through independent study and was subsequently followed by very valid Italian teachers and musicians including Alex Stornello and Ruggero Robin.

Appeared twice in the National magazine "Chitarre", in 2008 and 2014, as the winner of competitions organized by the same magazine.

Member and founder of the musical projects Waves, Blend, Rubik, In Blues, of which he takes care of the arrangements and with which he has made himself known for the development of techniques related to the Loop guitar.

Since 2019 guitarist with the Gospel group UltraJam (Cittadella)
Since 2019 he has collaborated in the role of string player (guitar, mandola, mandolin, baglama, lyre...) in live performances in the studio with the Calabrian singer-songwriter Paolo Sofia.

In 2018 he graduated in Music Therapy in Brussels after 3 years of studies at the Ferrari Specialization School in Padua.

In 2021 he became President of the APS Eventi Area Artistica Association and opened, together with Alessandro Paparella, the Music School and Sound Music Therapy Center Academy of which he is the Director.

In 2022 he becomes a teacher at the Modern Guitar Institute and the Sonora Academy, the official headquarters of the MMI Padua, thanks to the collaboration begun with President Alex Stornello.

In 2023 he became a teacher at the Ferrari Music Therapy Specialization School in Padua.
In 2023 he officially joined the historic Calabrian band Quartaumentata with which he began a collaboration both in the studio and live.

During the 2023 Guitar Show in Padua, he officially met the founders of Magrabò and began a personal and extended artistic collaboration at the Sonora Academy school.
