Spanish guitarist Unai Iker first developed an interest in music at the age of 5 when his parents sent him to classical piano lessons. At the age of 12, influenced mainly by rock, he realized that what he really wanted was to play the electric guitar.
He is a versatile player, with considerable expertise in many genres: rock, blues, funk, country, acoustic, and pop. He is also an accomplished slide guitar player.
He began his higher education in music in Barcelona at the renowned “L’aula de Música Moderna y Jazz” when he was 18, graduating in 2009. He spent the next two years in London playing with several bands, before moving back to his native Spain in 2011. He has since been consistently involved with the local music scene, recording for many artists, and also playing soul, funk, blues/rock with artists such as Tim Austin Mitchell (James Brown) and Molly Duncan (Average White Band, Marvin Gaye, Eric Clapton).

Unai Iker empezó a formarse musicalmente a la edad de 5 años asistiendo a clases de piano.
Mas tarde, en la adolescencia decidió cambiar el piano por la guitarra eléctrica influenciado principalmente por el Rock. A los 18 años de edad empezó a cursar estudios en la reconocida escuela de música "L'aula de música moderna y jazz del conservatorio del liceo de Barcelona”, graduándose en 2009.
Allí empezó a influenciarse de estilos como el Funk, Country, Blues y la técnica del Slide.
Añadiendo a su leguaje Rock recursos que hacen de él un guitarrista polivalente.
Desde entonces ha estado tocando con numerosas bandas y artistas entre los que cabe destacar: Tim Austin Mitchell (James Brown) y Molly Duncan (Average White Band, Marvin Gaye, Eric Clapton).
Actualmente esta plenamente dedicado a la creación de su música, trabajando como músico de sesión y creando material didáctico que podeis encontrar en su web.
También colabora con prestigiosas marcas haciendo clinics y demos.
