Luca Colombo has an eclectic personality, he is considered one of the best Italian guitarists, musician, arranger and teacher whose guitar has accompanied a large number of Italian and International artists.

He has been on tour accompanying some famous Italian artists such as Marco Mengoni, Eros Ramazzotti, Nek, Max Pezzali, Mango, Anna Oxa, Antonella Ruggiero, Umberto Tozzi, Gatto Panceri, Franz Di Cioccio, Loredana Bertè and internationals singers such as Robbie Williams, Lionel Richie, Al Jarreau, Phil Collins, Leona Lewis, Rebecca Ferguson, Jennifer Lopez, Brian May, Michael Boublè and James Blunt.

He teaches at the Conservatory of Parma, holds seminars and internships around Italy. He wrote a three-volume publication named “Vita da chitarristi” in which recounts his teaching method.

He works for television, in recording field and plays in live concerts, he participates to several and known tv programs such as Buona Domenica, Sabato Italiano, Un disco per l’estate, Fiorello Show, X Factor…
In 2013 he won the FIM award “guitarist of the year”, and from the year 2007 he is the lead guitar of Sanremo Festival.

His major musical and artistic influences come from the world of the “great guitarists” such as Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix and Val Halen and from the jazz fusion of Pat Metheny John Scofield and Mike Stern.

The Luca Colombo Band is the live project in which collaborate Paolo Costa (bass), Lele Melotti(drummer) and Giovanni Boscariol (Keyboardist) whit whom he recorded “Summerland”, album that contains 12 instrumental pieces with a rock soul and hints of unexpected and astonishing delicacy.
