A musician with strong personality and stage presence. He never saves a drop of his sweat and of his talent when he performs in a live concert, both in front of thousand people or hundreds. He is a sincere soul of Italian music and for this reason he is loved by his public.
Federico Poggipollini started his career in 1990 when he participated to the recording of the Litfiba album “El Diablo”, and later of “Sogno Ribelle” and “Terremoto”. He has joined the group that accompanies Luciano Ligabue with the contribution of Augusto Daolio (1994) and Buon Compleanno Elvis (1995).
From then on, his career is really taking off. His concerts and live performances follow one another.
His last effort and great success is the Album “Nero” that represents a turning point, it consists of 10 pieces of clear inspiration garage rock, played entirely live in studio and in direct drive between Bologna and San Francisco. Black is for excellence the colour of rock, but also of the black music (blues, soul), musical influences that are present in the album, whose mixture creates an incisive sound with an overwhelming effect.
Federico fresh from the success with Ligabue in Campovolo live concert in 2015, is currently engaged in his Nero Tour in Italy.
